THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
(All leaders are listed alphabetically by first name)
Doug King
Campus Lead
Doug has been sober since August 2006 after battling an addiction to alcohol. During his addiction, Doug committed devastating sins. In fact, his sinful actions deeply wounded others and led him to serve over two years in prison for his crime. Since becoming sober and accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior, Doug has dedicated his life to helping others find freedom from addiction through a relationship with Jesus. He has been ordained since December 2016 and is a certified "Peer Recovery Support Specialist." Doug volunteers his time to serve the recovery community at Recovery Church Martinsburg.
Kyle Hoffman
Men's Ministries/Elder
At the age of 36, October 21, 2003 was Kyle's first full day without a drink or drug. Throughout his sobriety he experienced tragedy, and dealt with many other life challenges and issues. But through it all “God gave him the strength he needed to not drink or drug.” Today he is thankful and honored to share his story in an effort to give others hope and belief, that they too can achieve sobriety.
Rachel King
Women's Ministries
Rachel is a survivor of domestic violence and has a passion for helping women that are or have gone through similar situations using drugs and alcohol to cope with their circumstances. Rachel is also a certified "Recovery Coach Professional".
