SERVICE
The Service
We begin the service with contemporary worship music, followed by a sermon or testimony and then a 30-minute “open share” time in which people can share what is on their hearts in a small group setting. The last Thursday of every month is Anniversary Night. It is a time in which we celebrate lengths of sobriety by handing out crosses as a tangible reminder of the changes we have made in our lives.

Junior Saint Val
Pastor
Pastor Junior has served as the Discipleship Pastor at Journey Church located in Lake Worth/Boynton Beach, Florida. After graduating high school, Junior became licensed to sell commodities. After a great deal of relative financial success, he fell deep into the bondage of drugs and alcohol. In 2013 Junior wanted to end his life, but instead, he decided to seek treatment. During his treatment, he renewed his faith and found purpose again. He has been a part of the Recovery Church family for many years now, is a part of the teaching team at our Recovery Church Lake Worth Location, and a the National Coach for the Recovery Church Movement. Junior and his wife Amanda have two boys.
Mike Eleveld
Pastor/Elder
Pastor Mike comes to Recovery Church after 30+ years of experience in ministry. He pastored two growing congregations in Michigan, is the Executive Pastor of Connect Church Royal Palm Beach, FL and served as a board member for the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE). Mike is a gifted Bible teacher and counselor with a heart to help people understand and respond to God’s word in a way that transforms their lives.
Patrick and Andréa McKenney
Worship and Technical Team
Patrick and Andréa McKenney oversee the worship and technical team at Recovery Church, Lake Worth.They have been married for over twenty years, have 5 children, lots of chaos and even more laughs. They have been involved in restoring relationships and reaching the lost for decades, not only through music, technical programming, missions, and small groups, but also the foster / adoptive community and the recovery community. They believe that loving people where they are is one of the best ways to show Jesus to our hurting world.
Philip Dvorak
Pastor
Phil has a passion to see people recover from the disease of addiction and be a part of the solution to this crisis in our nation. He is a devoted husband, father, and servant leader. Phil and his wife Sara have five children. Phil has been a Christian and Missionary Alliance pastor for many years.
