About Us

A Church Created BY the Recovery Community FOR the Recovery Community

• Our Story •

Founded in 2010, Recovery Church started with just a handful of men and women who wanted to give people an option to walk the journey of recovery with other Christ followers. The church has touched thousands of lives and has already outgrown its meeting place twice.

Recovery Church is a fellowship of people who desire to maintain their recovery while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe in the redemptive power of Christ’s love and desire to walk alongside one another in our healing process. Recovery Church is a transparent, Christ-centered, non-judgmental body that offers support and encouragement. ALL are welcome.

• The Service •

We begin the service with contemporary worship music, followed by a sermon or testimony.

Following the service, we offer a 30-minute “open share” time in which people can share what is on their hearts in a small group setting.

The last Thursday of every month is Anniversary Night. It is a time in which we celebrate lengths of sobriety by handing out crosses as a tangible reminder of the changes we have made in our lives.

“From the moment I walked into Recovery Church I knew this was where I belonged. I could literally feel God tapping me on the shoulder saying, “this is it, this is where I want you.” The music was amazing, the people were raw, the Pastors and volunteers were just so full of love.” That was it! The combination of recovery and Jesus was the answer for me and this was the only place I have ever experienced that at. So I never looked back, I stay involved in both RC and my AA program and I continue to grow spiritually and emotionally every day. I have a family and fellowship at RC unlike any other and an unconditional love and understanding that is one of the greatest gifts of my sobriety. This is why I’m so passionate about RC being available everywhere, I know what it did for me and I know what it can do for others and I also know there is nothing else like it around.”

He had been sober for 28 years and relapsed.  “I didn’t have the power of Jesus to sustain me.  Recovery Church is part of my connection to my Savior.  He’s my true Higher Power.” Knowing that the epidemic of drug addiction is killing at an alarming rate, Rob volunteers wherever needed at RC both for himself and the congregation.  “I pour my heart and soul into trying to help those affected.”
