Plant a Recovery Church in Melbourne, FL

We are looking for Christians in long-term recovery, in the Melbourne area, to join us in planting a Recovery Church, and help this city be a beacon of hope for those struggling with addiction.

Why Melbourne, FL?

God loves the people of Melbourne. He loves this city and wants to see it transformed for Him. We believe God’s heart is broken seeing people stuck in the bondage of addiction. Addiction is on the rise in Melbourne. Drug abuse continues to be a serious problem in Melbourne and the rest of Brevard County. The county ranks third in the state for drug overdoses. We are seeing an alarming increase in overdose deaths; many are dying without a saving relationship with Jesus or a path of recovery. Recently, we have witnessed a concerning pattern of other substances being laced with fentanyl and carfentanyl, creating a deadly combination.

The CDC estimates that fentanyl is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, and carfentanyl is 10,000 times more powerful than morphine and 100 times more powerful than fentanyl. This deadly combination is taking too many lives. Recovery Church desires to work alongside the local Church community and Recovery Fellowships to see this change. Recovery Church is seeing a transformation take place across this country, being led by people in recovery from alcoholism and addiction.

We are seeing Recovery Churches started by people in recovery for people in recovery. People in recovery are being used by God to rescue and redeem people from the pit of addiction. Partner with us to start Recovery Churches in the Melbourne area or Brevard County today. Although we do not have a physical Recovery Church in Melbourne, we are praying for the right people to partner with us today. Will you prayerfully consider being that partner today?

FINDING FREEDOM IN CHRIST

A Church Created BY the Recovery Community FOR the Recovery Community

Recovery Church Movement (RCM) is a network of Recovery Churches reaching and training those in early recovery to grow in their faith and recovery. RCM is a bridge between the 12-Step Fellowships and the Church. We train, coach, and help people learn to become disciple makers within the recovery community and start, plant, and reproduce Recovery Churches.

Through the power of Jesus and the ministry of Recovery Church men and women are coming to faith in Christ and are being redeemed and rescued out of the slavery of addiction. Each week Recovery Church serves hundreds of people that desire to maintain their sobriety while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Recovery Church desires to see believers lead the way in providing hope to a nation facing the horrific epidemic of addiction.

We have launched training to plant Recovery Churches across the United States. Join the ministry of bringing healing to the hurting by supporting the Recovery Church Movement.

With locations spreading across the United States, Recovery Church's mission is to be in every city, in every state, and across the world. You may search for your local Recovery Church location by visiting our main locations page. Are you a leader and didn't find a location in your area? Apply to open a church in your city!
