Calling Christians in long-term recovery in the Greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. We want to partner with you in planting churches for the recovery community, by the recovery community.
Why Chicago, IL?
The greater Chicago metropolitan area has been devastated by the crisis of addiction. Although some gains have been made, Chicago has continued to see a rise in overdoses and overdose-related fatalities. “Chicago Department of Public Health analysis of Cook County Medical Examiner data shows that there were 573 opioid-related overdose deaths in Chicago from January-June 2020, a 55% increase from the same time in 2019.
There were 7,301 opioid-related EMS responses during that time frame, a 60% increase from 2019. Approximately 40 a day. As the data is delayed, we are still awaiting more recent statistics, however, it seems inevitable that COVID and the associated isolation would have exasperated the situation. We believe God wants to see this change and wants believers in recovery to lead the way. Across the United States, people in recovery are working together with Recovery Church Movement, local churches, and the 12-step fellowships, to help reach those in addiction.
Recovery Church is a bridge between the local church and the recovery community. Although there is not currently a Recovery Church in Chicago, we believe that God will be honored by one being started. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us today to plant a Recovery Church in the Chicago area?

FINDING FREEDOM IN CHRIST
A Church Created BY the Recovery Community FOR the Recovery Community
Recovery Church Movement (RCM) is a network of Recovery Churches reaching and training those in early recovery to grow in their faith and recovery. RCM is a bridge between the 12-Step Fellowships and the Church. We train, coach, and help people learn to become disciple makers within the recovery community and start, plant, and reproduce Recovery Churches.
Through the power of Jesus and the ministry of Recovery Church men and women are coming to faith in Christ and are being redeemed and rescued out of the slavery of addiction. Each week Recovery Church serves hundreds of people that desire to maintain their sobriety while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Recovery Church desires to see believers lead the way in providing hope to a nation facing the horrific epidemic of addiction.
We have launched training to plant Recovery Churches across the United States. Join the ministry of bringing healing to the hurting by supporting the Recovery Church Movement.
